Concept-Led Designer
My design philosophy is grounded in conceptual thinking and honed through an attention to detail to create clear, purposeful visual communication. I have experience designing for print and digital, and am very interested in developing design systems that balance creativity and functionality. My projects analyse how design can convey ideas in interesting and accessible ways, and also consider the environmental and social implications of those ideas.
Practice and Process When I approach a design challenge, I start with broad, conceptual thinking, using research and ideation to refine ideas until they become a focused, functional, and compelling solution. My process is iterative, through ideation, research, experimentation, design, and refinement, letting the direction evolve naturally. I enjoy a collaborative environment during this process, testing and strengthening ideas through discussion and feedback. I also work across various media and platforms, ensuring that every stage of development is right for the brief and the final application.

Experience and Future Interests Alongside my time at the University of Lincoln, where I completed my bachelor's in graphic design, I also completed an in-house internship during the summer at Be.Smart Agency, where I worked alongside the team on client projects, campaign ideation and social media content. This experience provided me with an understanding of the industry, working in a collaborative environment and communicating and presenting designs visually to clients.

I have a particular interest in branding, campaigns and public-facing design. Where projects are developed from simple, creative ideas into engaging, strong visual identities and bold, eye-catching outcomes, both print and digital.
